I really like this book! It’s funny and it’s kind of interesting. I don’t know when it takes place and I don’t know where it is! But if I have to guess, I think it's in London, I've read the book before in Swedish´but it was about 3 years ago so I don't remember that much!
The story:
The story is about a girl called Matilda, she’s the main character and a very smart girl. Matilda is really talented, before she turned 5 she had already read long grownup books. But her family is not like that. Her parents are really mean and they don’t like when she reads, they only want her to watch TV and sit around like her brother. But Matilda is starting to get tired of them, especially her father, so the starts to punish him but it doesn’t get that much better.
What will happen after this is just to wait and see!
Well done. I've got a nice intro to the book, but i'm not sure i get the point. She's a young girl who's talented and her parents are mean. If you have read 1/4 of the book, you could tell a little more of what's happening and what's the "meaning" of it.
